This hands-on aquarium features over 100 exhibits, including more than 120 species of marine life, with a primary focus on animals native to Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. As a privately owned center, it emphasizes interactive learning experiences, making it distinct from state-run aquariums.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Families can explore 10 touch tanks, where they can interact with a variety of marine animals, including small shrimp, sharks, and rays. The center offers engaging programs designed for school-age children and adults, including school field trips and birthday parties.
