Updated
WHAT TO EXPECT
Visitors to the Botanical Center can explore four distinct environments: The Conservatory, The Mediterranean Room, and two smaller greenhouses that include a "Flavor Lab" and a Lil Sprouts Play area. Families will encounter over 150 species and cultivars of plants, including 40-foot-tall palms, carnivorous plants, and 10-foot cacti. The outdoor rose maze blooms from June to September, while the perennial gardens showcase vibrant colors from spring to fall. The center also features three Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which help with invasive plant removal and are a favorite among visitors.
GOOD TO KNOW
The center is conveniently located within Roger Williams Park, making it easy for visitors to enjoy nearby attractions such as the Zoo and Museum of Natural History. The Botanical Center also offers various volunteer opportunities, allowing visitors to engage with the community while supporting its mission.
