ABOUT

Rocky Point Farm is an 8.5-acre blueberry farm located on Warwick Neck in Warwick, Rhode Island. The farm is run by Nancy and her family, who took over operations after purchasing it from the previous owners, Mark and Betty Garrison, who started the farm in the mid-1980s. The property is situated near Rocky Point State Park and is surrounded by Narragansett Bay.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Families visiting Rocky Point Farm can enjoy picking blueberries, which are ripe from the first week in July to mid-August. The farm features more than 2,000 blueberry bushes covering two and a half acres, providing ample opportunity for visitors to taste and select their favorite berries. The farm also offers pre-picked berries for those who prefer not to pick their own.

GOOD TO KNOW

The farm's history dates back to when the Garrisons sold the property in 2012, preserving it for agricultural uses through an easement with the Department of Environmental Management. The current owners have embraced the farm's legacy, bringing in 16,000 bumble bees for pollination each spring. Rocky Point Farm operates seasonally during the blueberry picking season and provides a family-friendly outdoor activity that allows for social distancing.
