GOOD TO KNOW

Established in 1897, the Audubon Society of Rhode Island is the oldest environmental organization in the state, dedicated to protecting wildlife and their habitats. Since acquiring its first wildlife refuge in 1924, the organization has grown to become one of the largest private landholders in Rhode Island. Visitors are encouraged to respect the natural habitats and follow guidelines to ensure the preservation of this important ecological area.
